Cat Arthritis

Cat Arthritis

If you’re on the website right now you probably have a cat that you love dearly, and it’s starting to show signs of arthritis.

Maybe it’s just starting up, and maybe your cat has severe arthritis and you just can’t seem to fix it no matter what you’ve tried.

I completely understand, and I want to help you make your cat better, and as quickly and as easily as possible.

So I’ve done a ton of research for you, looked through all the possibilities out there to help your cat eliminate it’s arthritis pain.

I’ll try and distill it down to the most important points for you, so you don’t have to waste your time, effort, and money.

In this stage of the “pet arthritis industry” there is a significant amount of half truths, misunderstandings, and outright scams. Falling into one of these “traps” can cost you a ton of time, money, and your pets health. And that’s why I’m so excited you found this website so I can give you the honest truth, and you can start moving forward in the right direction.

Lets get started, and keep things really simple.

What causes cat arthritis?

There is not one cause of arthritis in pets, but some of the most common causes are:

  • Poor nutrition (often caused by pet food companies not providing the proper nutrients.)
  • Joint pressure (often caused by an animal being overweight thus causing additional weight on joints.)
  • Degenerative diseases (often caused by genetics, or complications from diet.)

And that’s pretty much all.

What’s the most common though?

In my opinion, it’s diet. Many people don’t know this, but cats can have hidden allegries to grains, especially wheat.

Wheat contains all sorts of bad things that can cause health issues in cats (and in some people too.)

What type of  bad things are in wheat?

Just a quick summary:

Wheat contains gluten, gluten contains substances called lectins. The specific lectins in wheat can strip the protective lining of a cat’s digestive system.

When the protective lining is gone, the lectins can pass through the intestines and into the cats blood.

Then the lectins can actually stick to the cells in the cats joints, and cause inflammation. And also, the cat’s body gets confused by the lectins, and starts attacking the joints with the cat’s own immune system.

Over time, this causes the cat’s joints to wear down, and symptoms of arthritis appear.

Anecdotal evidence over time has shown that if you can stop feeding your cat wheat, (and pretty much any grain) that the symptoms will stop from getting worse, but not always get better.

If your cat has weight issues, wheat may also be contributing to it as well.

Excess carbohydrates (wheat is almost 100% carbohydrates) can lead to weight gain. And if your cat food has sugar in it, that can also cause excess weight gain.

But if your cat has arthritis, my recommendation is to at least *try* and find a grain free cat food, and see if that helps from making it worse. (And try to find a food that is sugar free as well.)

Now that you’ve stopped the arthritis from getting worse, how do you make your cat feel better?

My personal recommendation is a product called Pet Bounce, it has been shown to be the most effective in helping cats with arthritis, and also is the least expensive option that actually works.

You can check out Pet Bounce by clicking here. (Pet Bounce can also help arthritis caused by genetics as well as only diet, and weight issues.)
